HOW TO INSTALL CREEDS ROM TUTORIAL



 1. UPDATE Firmware to (2.3.6) using KIES to avoid ERRORS.
(unexpected SD card Removal / Repeated Boot or BOOT LOOP).

 2.Your device must be ROOTED.
     - for Rooting TUTORIAL. click here 
     - UN-ROOTING TUTORIAL. click here
(TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ROOTING ADVANTAGE AND DISADVANTAGES) click here

 3. Download Creeds ROM .ZIP file here. LINK

        for the  
   -14 notification Status Bar Toggles. download UPDATE file here. LINK
   - ClockWorkMod Recovery LINK

PUT THE 2(TWO) DOWNLOADED  FILES IN YOUR SD CARD ROOT DIRECTORY.
NOT INSIDE ANY FOLDER.


 4. REBOOT your device into RECOVERY MODE.
to put it into RECOVERY mode.
   -Shut down your device after your device is completely shut down, PRESS the following keys together.
(VOLUME UP+HOME KEY+POWER BUTTON)
once you enter the recovery mode apply wipe data(make sure you backed up your data)...when you selected wipe data you will see a lot of "NO" and one "YES",CHOOSE "YES".
 
  TOUCHSCREEN WONT WORK IN RECOVERY MODE.
  - you can use volume keys to make a selection movements, and HOME key to select the item.

INSIDE THE RECOVERY MODE 
 -Select (apply update from SD card) by pressing home key.
 - choose CWM_update_NB.zip Download Link
when done patching
 - inside the ClockWorkMod Recovery do a wipe date reset then
 - Choose "install zip from SD card".
 - a list of files will appear now ( choose CreedROMv20.zip) then "YES".
 -after the file is patched you will back to the main RECOVERY MENU
 then CHOOSE (reboot system now).
 - After this your device will restart. it may take 5 to 15 minutes. [total Black screen] (So be patient). 

 -  When the ROM starts there will be no 14 status bar toggles.
    (to install the 14 status bar toggles REPEAT the PROCEDURE but this time choose 14Status.CreedROM.New.Updated.zip) then you have it.. you have the 14 status bar toggles. ENJOY

if there is any problem with regards to the first reboot time (ex: your reboot time takes an hour or more) just leave a comment and i will respond as soon as i can...

      this rom only allows wallpapers from the gallery and installed live wallpapers.. if the wallpapers from your gallery won't work.. post here again..I'll try what i can do..

      back up all your important files then do a hard reset type it into your dial pad
      (*2767*3855#) then just reinstall the ROM.. go the the recovery menu and install creedROMv2.zip

      when your device doesn't boot with-in 30mins after first installing the rom.
      -do a factory reset,, then after boot just reinstall the rom..to remove certain issues.

      YES IT IS..!!but to remove that bug you have to hard reset your device and reinstall the rom and the 14statusbar-update again..

      do a factory reset it will boot faster if you do this after installing the rom in the cases just like yours,then reinstall both the rom and the update after the reset..and you're done..

      wipe data and cache.. remove your sd card, format it using your pc, if doesn't work flash again the stock rom... (just do a factory reset and wipe all data/cache)before installing any rom to prevent certain issues...

    Nice rom.. work awesome so far.. but don't like the status bar look like (just the status bar only, the icon an 14 notification is gorgeous). and one more thing.. superuser and google search can't be updated.. there said that package file wasn't compatible or some kind of it.. why's that? and i wanna ask, is there any MIUI Rom that can fit and run smooth on S5360? by the way, thanks with the creed rom. thumbs up.

      the application is pre-installed so you cant update it.. no MIUI rom is compatible with s5360.. all of the roms that posted here are all the recent rom available for galaxy Y... i will post all the rom for s5360 here as soon as they released.. and also the updates for this roms..

      will waiting the update.. oyea leo, waht makes MIUI not compatible with S5360? one more thing, when i use Path application it keep telling me that i must turn on the phone's location services. it so weird coz when i run the foursquare and google maps, the gps are running normal and gimme my current location. Path apk is run normally on official gingerbread but after i install this rom, path apk cant get my current location.. and is there posibble to install the 14notif into official gingerbread? thanks by the way..

      not possible to install it on stock rom... and using google maps for the first time in this rom needs wifi connection... and about MIUI rom.. there are no official release of this rom for galaxy s5360..

    if i root the device then it should have "superuser" , and if i wipe data , then the root will be gone?

      you can backup your important files using kies.. you can save it to your sd card or in your PC.. after flashing a custom rom you can restore it again on your device..

      - wiping data can not wipe superuser app if you are rooted,

      same as flashing a custom ROM in flashing stock rom back.. yes CWM or clockworkmod is needed to flash Creeds ROM.. i will post the download link for the CWM.. by the way CWM is a custom recovery mode.. i will update the tutorial on installing creeds rom using CWM..

      ohh i see.. its normal when installing creeds rom.. it is a common error..
      if you read all the comments here, you will find the answer,
      by the way if your still in black screen with backlight
      simply
      -reboot your device to recovery mode
      -then wipe all the data and cache,,
      -then choose reboot system now..
      -then after boot,,
      - reboot to recovery mode again and reinstall the rom..

      that it.. !!

      iniisip ko baka sa firmware kasi firmware ng india ginamit ko m\nung nag flash ako... baka dun poh nag ka problema try ko poh ulit i flash gamit ang firmware ng philippines... tapos reinstall ko ulit creed rom,, post ko poh ulit ang result!!!

      haiz.... ganun pa rin sir.... ayaw pa din gumana ng gps at packet data ko.....!!!! wifi nagana naman at blutooth :(

      update.. flash ko sa ibang firmware gumana na packet data ko... yehey!!! yung gps na lang wala pa din nalabas na icon sa status bar ehh..... :(

      do you mean v2.6 because its the v2.5... for me, this version is more stable than newer releases..

    Dude Vince here. i downloaded a rom (not creed) and had problems with the headset. its says earphones are not detected and it really is not detected. Does this ROM has the same issue?

    I'm getting many error notifications when try to update apps from market.
    Even the market isn't updated to Google play.
    Apps like:
    -Gmail
    -GoogleSearch
    -Google streetview

    assuming there are many more apps that would not update-able in the future.
    How can solve this?

      reboot your device to recovery mode.. then wipe all data and cache.. then reboot the phone,,after reboot reinstall the rom and the 14notofication bar update,, enjoy

      wipe all data and cache.. then reinstall the rom and the 14status bar update.
      if your notification bar still wont open.. go back to the original stock rom.. and repeat the procedure in installing a custom rom..

    Sir i'm try to flash Creed ROM 2.0 with SCH-i509 (CDMA Galaxy Y). when i flash the Creed Rom 2.0.zip in recovery mode. it's got error at boot img and i do reboot. Now my phone is Power dead. no power when i connect with usb and without usb. can u help me sir ?
    black screen with no backlight. can't open my phone and can't do anything.

    Hi,

    I'm Nagaraj and I've installed this ROM in my SGY and the mobile's operation after installation is "AWESOME" (Cheers!!!)

    I'm having few queries out of my curiosity:
    - Some of the pre-installed Apps like "Gmail", "Google Market" are not getting updated to the latest version. Will this be fixed in future?
    - When I searched for Firmware update, the mobile says that a new Firmware is available for download. What will happen if I proceed installing the Firmware update?

    Continue with this greatest work and let me know about my Queries.
